Buffalo slot spits $1.4 million jackpot at Las Vegas Valley casino
The Green Valley Ranch in Henderson, Nevada was the site of a huge payday for one lucky local woman this weekend.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports that according to a spokesperson for Station Casinos LLC, which owns and operates the resort spa casino situated in the Las Vegas metropolitan area, the woman won a $1.4 million jackpot while playing a Buffalo slot machine.
An email from the spokesperson reportedly said that the local woman has chosen to remain anonymous, according to the news agency.
The Buffalo slot machine the lucky woman won on is made by Las Vegas-headquartered Aristocrat Technologies, Inc. (ASX: ALL), a subsidiary of Australian slot machine manufacturer Aristocrat Leisure Ltd.
The designer, manufacturer, and marketer of gaming machines, progressive systems, and casino management systems, recently filed suit against Las Vegas-based maker of electronic gaming machines (EGMs) PlayAGS Inc, (NYSE: AGS) and the company’s primary operating entity, AGS LLC, alleging federal trademark and trademark infringement of its proprietary Buffalo™ brand, franchise, and intellectual property and has requested a jury trial in the trademark infringement suit.
